Coming soon, recent music videos for Jamie Lawson and Golden burn. We're currently also editing the new Nonstop material, shot in the Canadian Rockies.
With the edit work completed on 'Back To Life' BBC Worldwide are now preparing to distribute the documentary. It's been an amazing experience for us working on the project and after a huge amount of work we're really proud of the outcome.
For the BBC version we had to be ruthless with our editing but with any luck, some cut scenes may end up on our website.
New original music has been provided for the documentary by Giles Woolley, Chris Harrington, Benjie Eldridge, Ollie Shortland, The Dukes, Max Swift and Ikandi's very own Toby Lobb.
Our thanks go out to all at Wounded Buffalo in Bristol for their online and audio dubbing services, all the Veterans who allowed us to tell their stories, Sevenstones Media, Britdoc, Cornwall Film, Challenge Aspen, Diamond River Adventures and all of our friends, family and anyone else who helped make this doco what it is.

As part of the distribution agreement with BBC Worldwide we needed to rename our documentary 'Alive Day'. After days of bashing heads together and several possible title suggestions we finally decided on 'Back To Life'.
Ikandi are pleased to announce that we have signed a distribution deal for our documentary formerly entitled 'Alive Day' to BBC Worldwide. As part of the agreement we will need to cut the running time to 50 minutes and also rename it. More to come on this as it happens...
Ikandi are pleased to announce that we have been commissioned to produce a new corporate DVD for the Enterprise and Development Office at the University of Exeter's Cornwall Campus.

We've just finished covering the 2-day House of Fraser Autumn/Winter range launch at the Royal Academy. The first day's shoot covered the VIP catwalk show. This footage was then projected onto a large screen the following day while we covered the press and public launch. Many thanks to everyone at House of Fraser and Timebased Events for making the event so enjoyable.

Ikandi is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by SITA Cornwall to create an educational DVD and short web movie to promote their role within the Cornish community. The films will cover the recycling and waste management work that SITA is undertaking and how the community can help to reduce our reliance on landfills in the county. We were recently asked to create a sensory tunnel for the launch of Body Shop's new Wellbeing range, in London. Our brief was to create an audio-visual projection that would envelope members of the press and consumers as they walked into the launch's presentation. Using the relevant footage and concentrating heavily on sound design we succesfully created an experience that conveyed the key message of the new brand identity.
From the end of March we will be assisted by Elise Webster for a two week period. Elise is part way through her degree in Digital Media and we hope that this experience helps her to get a good insight into the media industry.
Well, first things first... We'd like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and hope that the seasonal hangover has begun to fade a little!
We're in the process of updating our website with more news and new videos to show you how things have been shaping up for us recently.
We have some exciting new ideas that we are currently developing as well as continued projects with existing corporate clients.
If you are new to the website, feel free to look around and get an idea of what Ikandi can offer you and your company.
We look forward to working with new clients and developing existing relationships as well. And most importantly we look forward to an exciting New Year... Here's to a great 2008!!
Following on from previous work with Dennis Publishing and the new Ford S-Max, the team will be heading out to Chamonix to film three new promotional videos for Dennis' E-Magazine.
With 2 metres of snow forecast for the week of our visit this should be an enjoyable project!!
Ikandi are pleased to announce that they are now working closely with local Television Production company Sevenstones Media. As well as helping us to find broadcasters and distributors for Alive Day, we are also looking to develop some of our Broadcast ideas with them.
This is a great opportunity for us to create and define better relationships within the industry and to get our work out there for everyone to enjoy. We are all looking forward to this next stage in our development and the exciting prospects that it brings.

Saturday November 10th saw the premiere of our revised version of Alive Day at the Cornwall Film Festival taking place in Falmouth. The film was really well received by the audience who got to quiz, question and interrogate Tom and Toby afterwards in a Q&A session. The festival was a great opportunity not only to show people what we were all about, but also to meet like-minded people and see the creative talent that Cornwall has to offer.
If you'd like to get involved with the Cornwall Film Festival or would like more information click here.
As a result of glossy magazine Cornwall Today choosing to sponsor Alive Day at the forthcoming Cornwall Film Festival, we were asked to wash behind our ears, prepare our best smiles and get into 'interview mode' for a great four page profile on all things Ikandi.
As well as looking at Alive Day and the screening at the festival, the article also looks at what drives us as a company and why we chose to base ourselves in Cornwall and not look east towards a London life.
There have already been reports of four foot high posters of the Ikandi boys popping up around the county to promote the magazine.
For those not able to get a copy of the magazine, we have a little taster for you here.
The Britdoc Festival 07 was a great success for Ikandi. Alive Day was received very well by the audience at it's screening and Surf Rescue our entry into the 3 Minute Wonder Category, earnt Tom the Studio Artois Up & Coming Award.
It's great to be able to make short films and documentaries about things that we really care about and incredibly rewarding when our work is recognised by other people.

Thanks to everyone who was involved in both projects.
